For our client, a multinational company, leader in integrated solutions for the textile applications, we are looking for a:
Senior Corporate Product Manager - Textile Equipment
The position reports directly to the Managing Director and is in charge of developing and implementing the strategic marketing plan for the specific Business Line.
Main duties are:
•Maintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art of the Company’s portfolio in order to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs, including adherence to schedules and estimated costs.
•Support other business lines, internal and external customers, and suppliers as required
•Use knowledge and expertise to market winning proposals in anticipation of business product needs
•Provide technical guidance, direction and training to new and experienced colleagues, customers, technicians and other internal and external stakeholder
•Plan and execute throughout the product life cycle: fully managing product launch, market positioning, competitive analysis, pricing, forecasting and product ranges
•Fully own and manage product and Go-to-Market strategies and operations across + than 40 countries.
•Ongoing and proactive involvement in the development of product actions to drive incremental revenue (promos, competitive position strategies, marketing campaigns and tactical plans specific to geographies), as required.
•Develop detailed profitability/revenue analysis and business case justifications for all products
•Participate in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, for new and emerging products with focus on the potential profit
•Coordinate technical product development, estimates of potential profits and release to production.
•Collaborate with the other functional areas such as Sales, R&D, Technical Office, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Operations in Italy and abroad to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
•The ideal candidate has a degree (preferably in Engineering) with at least 10/15 years of experience in Textile Product Management and/or technical marketing role. Solid knowledge of textile processes, equipment, products and applications is required
•He/She is a forward-looking person, creative, with a good business acumen and strong leadership; has the ability to influence the priorities of other functions to deliver strong business results
•Fluent in English.
